Zippadee-Zip Strips!

The B&T (Background and Texture) Duos (double sided) paper in our paper packs has an extra 1/2" piece on one side. This is called the Zip Strip. One one side is printed the paper pack info, item number, name, copyright info and the colors featured in the pack (useful when adding cardstock, ink and embellishments). The other side is printed with a separate pattern or words. These little babies are useful in MANY ways, Let Me Show You How...

 

Obviously, these can be used anywhere you need a 1/2" piece on cards or layouts.

            They can be used in place of ribbon.

They can be left attached the paper (trim 1/2" from the opposite side) as a decorative edge.

Word from the Close To My Heart convention today is that new colors are coming in the 2016-17 Annual Inspirations (releases August 1, 2016)! We'll be saying good-bye to several shades from the Adventure collection:

$5 Fridays - Card Making

I've held $5 Friday the last two months and it's been well received! Thank you everyone!

Here are the February cards:

$5 Friday is the last Friday of the month. Stop by my place between 4 and 9:00 pm to make five cards for $5. I'll have drinks and snacks available too. The next Workshop is March 18 (a week early). BYO paper adhesive. RSVP very much appreciated.
