20 Years as a Maker

If you missed the email, here's the info on my anniversary give-aways:

November marks my 20th year as a Close To My Heart Maker/Consultant and I sending YOU the presents! After all, if it wasn't for all of you: shopping, cropping, booking, and sharing, I wouldn't be in business. I will be entering people into drawings for random prizes. How are you entered? Let me count the ways!

1. Do something...comment, like, follow, share on social media. For my vanity? No. Because that's how Social Media works. Algorithms and other techie stuff. You can find links to the right (on web page). I'm also uploading and sharing my videos. I made a new page on my blog where your can find my previous classes and links for the CTMH workshops.  If you're on a new platform such as:  Locals, Mewe, Gab, Rumble or Parler, let me know.
1. bonus "tickets" for finding "errors" on my blog
2. Shop. That's always appreciated! Look for Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales and announcements later this month. The new November/December catalog just started and the new Core Catalog is only a few months old. FYI there were a LOT of items that sold out from September/October. In a few days we'll know if there is anything left (paper, thin cuts, embellishments). You should be able to find September/October stamps in the Online Only section; they are around for about a year. I'm giving out prize drawing "tickets" for almost anything that involves "20" or "anniversary."
1. every $20 spent
2. items from page 20
3. item numbers that include "20"
4.  stamp sets that include the word "anniversary"
5. November/calendar products
6. Stamp of the Month

3. Join. Sign-up, renew, and/or refer a VIP. There are also TWO special products exclusively for VIP members! Don't forget my Stamp and Scrap Club and Create with Heart subscriptions!
4. Donate $20 to Operation Smile. You can go through my website, no shipping, etc. It's only $240/child for surgery that will change, if not save, their life.  Can we raise enough for one smile??

This "special" runs through November 30, 2021.

All About Cut Above...

Did you see the Pages for All Ages special? It runs through March (while supplies last) and there's a Facebook Live event on March 30. The virtual class may be hosted by a 9 year old, but as the name implies, Cut Above kits are for ALL Ages, and skill levels!

Cut Above mean NO cutting, or cutting tools, required!! All you need is adhesive and a journaling pen. This IS Faster, Simpler, and Easier scrapbooking!  Both the card and scrapbooking Craft with Heart Subscriptions feature Cut Above kits. Sometimes specials will include a Cut Above option.

Who should consider Cut Above an a crafting option?

• new crafters
• experienced crafters
• younger folkds
• older folks
• crafters with limited supplies and space
• crafters with unlimited supplies and large spaces
• busy people
• retired people
• parents
• grandparents
• customers
• Makers
• scrapbookers
• cardmakers

Yes, Cut Above kits are for EVERYONE!! I used my card kit subscription when we were homeless, moving, and most of my supplies were packed (or in another state). It was easy-peasy having everything in one box! I even used the block and mini ink pad a time or two. It was easier than digging out my regular supplies. And the size was also convenient for crafting in a vehicle!

Here's a link to a video I made with a previous Cut Above Kit. WATCH

I will be offering a FREE in-person and/or vitual Cut Above class on Saturday, April 10 @ 1 pm EST.  Anyone who purchases a Cut Above product from me between March 1 and April 10 is welcome to attend. Make sure you have adhesive if you are attending virtually. I have some in stock for in-person attendees who need it.

Close To My Heart has two Cut Above Scrapbooking kits available especially for this promotion:

• Every Little Thing
• Hawthorn

You can also order either of the Craft with Heart Subscription kits.

Other Cut Above items currently available are:

• Holiday Sparkle cards (5x7 shakers)
• Moments Like These layouts (or add the calendar) 12x12
• The Story Begins - Baby Boy or Girl (12x12)
• Best Friends Forever (6x8)
• These Are My People (6x8)
• Blue Skies (12x12)
• Happiest Place (8.5x11)

And, I have the following in stock:

• The World is Yours (makes two 12x12 double page layouts) $17.95

Adding a little more CRAZY to 2020

Because a world-wide pandemic wasn't enough excitement this year, we decided to move across the country. Greetings from Northwest Ohio! We are here, but I wouldn't say we're settled. Almost ever thing is still packed, we're staying with family, both Oregon properties are sold and the Ohio flip is on the market. We're starting our due diligence on a distressed property, nothing like the flip, but it would still scare normal buyers. We'll see how it goes.

What does everyone think of the new 2020-21 Core and Seasonal Sept/Oct Catalogs?!?!

I can think of several people who should be excited about all the mixed media items. I like all the paper suites and am IN LOVE with our Color of the Year Blue Belle!!

The other new colors are:

• Desert Rose
• Cinnamon
• Scarlet
• Flamingo
• Grape
• Avocado (which I can now spell correctly)
• Sundance

Way before anyone knew about Covid, the CTMH Corporate Office was planning some exciting changes that took place on October 1. If you haven't checked out the new VIP Customer program, click the tab above. I think this is going to be perfect since Home Parties have been few and far between in general. Now that we're all 6 feet (or 2000 miles) apart, it's even more appropriate. Did you catch my new title? Consultant are now called Makers! I'm still consulting independently and running my business the way I want to, but the new name is kind of fun. Now, if I can only get somethings made!!

Share your crafty projects on my Facebook page! I need your creativity and inspiration. I have not been able to do much making but am going to break out my Craft with Heart Card Subscription ASAP. This is perfect for my life right now: everything is in the box and all I needed to find (which I did) was adhesive.

I'm looking forward to getting together with you virtually and scheduled a Christmas Card class for October 24. See the details under Events to Join.
